Whilst having a wonder around Shoreditch one afternoon, I stumbled across Nobrow. An independent shop, gallery and publisher. The Nobrow shop is filled with beautiful books, comics, graphic novels, toys and limited edition prints.

A favourite of mine, published by Nobrow, is a concertina book Swan Lake detailing a night at the ballet. Beautifully illustrated by artist Ping Zhu it shows both front of house and back stage at the ballet.

They also have an exciting and unusual range of children’s books too. I got Raphael a couple of books. The Game of Light from by Hervé Tullet, is an inventive game of storytelling with shadows and Remarkable Animals, a mix and match book which allows you to create 100′s of mythical creatures.

I literally could spend hours in this store pottering around, it’s well worth a visit…..
